I would like to install this utility on my systems, so I do not know if is a hp software.
Also will be very appreciate it a description of installation procedure.

SolutionYou can get it from the HP porting center.
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/tcpdump-3.7.1/
It is in the depot format
you can do a
#gunzip
#swinstall -s

you'll find tcpdump on
http://hpux.asknet.de/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/tcpdump-3.7.1/
Here you'll find a depot you can install with swinstall/SAM.
Software from this side is particularly for HP.

you need to first install this before tcpdump.
The installation procedure is the same.
do a gunzip and then a swinstall on the depot file
