hi,

hmmmm depends what exactly you mean....

- Terminal emulators running on windows allow you to copy & paste.
- If you're running X-Windows (motif) you can have a "Explorer"-like view as in Windows to view your directories
...

Thierry.
All unix flavours are exactly the same . . . . . . . . . . for end users anyway.

(remember unix was built with networking, security, flexibility and scalability in mind - something the windoze maker hasn't understood)

Yes. one simple way==> Install samba, connect to the unix box via a windoze box.

And there are many other gui utilities available @ places like gnu.org.

Another way which I use alot is an ftp client on your windows PC with a GUI interface, eg. WS-FTP Lite. I can connect to the HP server and use the ftp GUI like an explorer window, supporting (limit) drag and drop capability. It's not too much trouble to drag and drop between servers as well (going via the PC).
Cheers!

The best one of all - use "Konqueror" on your Linux box (disposing properly of your Windoze O/S - of course).
