Is Trusted Mode reversable?

Hi all,

What's the procedure to "tsunconvert" Simply recovering the old passwd
file and deleting /.secure/*?

Use SAM to do this, it should take care of everything.

There is no supported way to reverse conversion to trust mode.

However, "tsconvert -r" will do it.

At HP 10.20 & 11.x HP fully supports unconverting a Trusted system but ONLY though SAM.

Hi

I think when you are converting your system to trusted mode the /etc/passwd file is copied in /tcb.and we will find all the entries in /etc/passwd(password) with *.

You can revert back the system with the help of SAM and i hope SAM will take care of all the things when you are selcting for the reverting back the system.
