Is Trusted System a purchasable product? Also, how do you convert a system into a 'Trusted System'? Do you have steps or procedures? Thanks

# /etc/tsconvert
Then, before you log out, make sure you can log into the root account with the old password. If not, from the same prompt you have open, reset the root password.

Re: Is Trusted System a purchasable product?
And no, Trusted System is not a purchasable product. It should be in your existing HP-UX release.

Solution
No, it's free. Since this is your first time, I suggest that you use sam to do this.
sam -> Auditing and Security -> System Security Policies
It will do a few checks and then do the conversion for you. You can use the same procedure to revert to non-trusted status.
I assume that you are not running NIS because NIS and Trusted are incompatible.

If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
