Re: Is vxdmp included with 11iV3
VxVM 4.1 is not aware of the new agile DSFs (/dev/disk/diskXX), but that doesn't mean it isn't using the new MPIO feature in the IO stack. By default 11iv3 even does load balancing/MPIO on legacy device files, so even though VxVM only sees /dev/dsk/cXtYdZ devices, the new MPIO features are used.
If you upgrade to VxVM 5.0, then VxVM becomes aware of the agile DSFs and can be configured to just use those if you wish. Have a look at the following 2 links:
On how 4.1 behaves:
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-6383/5991-6383.pdf
See chapter 8 on p69
On what 5.0 changes:

Re: Is vxdmp included with 11iV3
vxdump ships with the OS.
If you want full capability and mirroring, you do need an add on product form Veritas. Though HP licenses these tools and re-sells them.

Re: Is vxdmp included with 11iV3
vxdump = vertitas filesystem dump utility
vxdmp = veritas dynamic multi-pathing
although in this case Bruce was actually talking about the native multi-pathing functions, which is something seperate to vxdmp
