ISEE Install - No Entitlement Information Section for entering system handle

Just installed ISEE. Didn't see anywhere where I can enter the system handle.

Zeev, thanks for the screen shot. Here's my screen shot. You will see there isn't any data entry for the system handle on my screen.

I'm going to remove and then re-install to see if the problem gets fixed.

What kind of system is this (model/OS) - hp-9000 with hpux 11.*?

I believe you have two questions with simular issues. In case you are having problems viewing the other I have supplied the same info below.

I have to assume you have loaded the newest ISEE version, Hopper A.03.00. on UNIX OS

In this version you will be prompted for the contact information first, which then gets submitted, then the same screen will come back again and you will see the following additional fields:


Entitlement Information
*required fields

Select the Entitlement Type from the list and enter the Entitlement Identifier.

Entitlement Type* (here you use the pull down to choose either System Handle or Service Agreement ID(SAID)
Entitlement Identifier* (this is where you type you System Handle)
(Case Sensitive)

Okay, then the entitlement info comes back populated from hp. This explains why it doesn't show up.


I've contacted the security folks to make sure I got the the correct proxy info. Been guessing but keep getting network errors.


I also noticed that the stored system handle got lost somehow. I uninstalled that latest version of ISEE, installed an older version providing the handle and then installed the latest version. The latest version cleared out the system handle.

I'm installing ISEE on a K260, K460 and N4000's.

Everything looks okay now that I got the proxy info.

I uninstalled ISEE, reinstalled older version of isee with proxy info and it appears to be working.
