After ignite'ing a A500 from a make_net_recovery image, the box stop at the ISL> prompt.

Booting...

HARD Booted.

ISL booting hpux

I tried entering hpux -is and it returns to the ISL> prmpt without any warnings notices.

Any ideas welcome.

Hi Don,

Did the box actually compete the install, or was this the first attempt?

If you were trying to boot off an make_net_recovery image, what was your options?

boot> lan install.xx.xx.xx.xx ?

and you not supposed to use the ISL anyway.

have you tried to boot from the other end (from the igniter server?)

the build went through complete successful.

the very last message is

Booting_From_Client_Disk: Begin

when I log into the GSP is get teh ISL> prompt, I then type hpux -is (for singel user mode) and the ISL> prompt comes right back.

Donny,

At the ISL prompt, do "ls" to see if you even have hpux there.
