Issues while installing Metrocluster toolkit A.09.00
Hi Team,
I was trying to install Metrocluster toolkit version A.09.00 on a new server.Continetal cluster version A.07.01, ServiceGuard A.19.00 and solution enabler 6.5.3 is already installed on the server.
There is no LUNs mapped to the server and zoning not yet done.
While I am trying to install the metro tollkit, it is giving the error,
* Reading source for file information.
The corequisite "MCDR-Common.CM-MCDR-COMMON,r>=A.09.00" for
fileset "SG-SRDF-Tool.CM-SRDF,r=A.09.00" cannot be
successfully resolved.
ERROR: The dependencies for fileset "SG-SRDF-Tool.CM-SRDF,r=A.09.00"
cannot be resolved (see previous lines).
You must resolve the above dependencies before operating on
this fileset or change the "enforce_dependencies" option to
"false".
Please could anyone tell me whether I can skip this and install the software.
Abhilash

Re: Issues while installing Metrocluster toolkit A.09.00
Shalom Abhilash,
MCDR-Common.CM-MCDR-COMMON is a dependency that is either not selected on the depot or not present in the system.
First, check the depot you are using with swlist, perhaps swlist -i to see if the fileset is present.
If not there, check your Core OS DVD or repository for this fileset. It needs to be installed at the same time as the Metro Cluster.
