Itanium can't boot past configure loopback interface
I just ignited.
I had it up on the network... started modifying my files and was getting ready to turn over to customer. I modified something wrong obviously!!!
Is it net.init that does the configure loopback interface?
What should I look at.
Thanks,
Tonya

Re: Itanium can't boot past configure loopback interface
net.init does do the config. references a couple of files.
any output from it in /etc/rc.log?
also check /sbin/rc2.d to make sure the link is there correctly.
there's probably more...

Re: Itanium can't boot past configure loopback interface
Yeah... none of that...
I'm reigniting...
Then I'm going to move over one peice at a time, then init1, init3 and see what exactly is breaking this. I just did one of these Monday and it went perfectly, so we will see.
