itanium server to boot HPuX over SAN

Hi

How do i setup a hpux itanium host to boot over the SAN. I used to have 11i work fine but during booting of cdrom in itanium i cannot select my disk (fc10) thats zoned with my host through a broade switch. when the host boots off the root disk i can, run io to my FC10 disk.

Also, how can i force an itanium server to crash itself so as i can test and see if my dump to a san is working correctly. on 11i all i did was at the console just did a TC reset and it worked like it should.
