A client is getting strange syslog messages in relation to their SAN (running v11.0).

I am not new to storage, but am new to HP-UX. Can anyone help me decode this message?

Hi James,

Looks like syslog logging the system boot message. If this is at the begining of the syslog.log file, this is normal. System is identifying and logging the hardware sensed at the time of boot.

I think you need to supply a bit more info here. When is this happening?
how often?
Are these particular discs? i.e. are there
others on the system NOT causing the same symptoms?
