Re: J-Class Build in CD Drive Question...

From the prompt I typed:

./xmcd
Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown event type: s
Warning: ... found while parsing 'Ctrl'
xmcd fatal error

The appdefaults/XMcd file cannot be located.

------------------------------------------

OK...here's the deal: I got the binaries from the UK HPUX porting archive... and unzipped and swinstalled them. I've tried to put all the variables in... specified my dev in the XMcd file...specified the PATH and the XMCD_LIBPATH yet the program still won't run... it gives the error I put up at the beginning...

any ideas...? ARE there any other CD-Audio apps other than xmcd?

Re: J-Class Build in CD Drive Question...

Forget it... I got it... thanks to all who pointed me to www.liblio...

From there I downloaded the tar.gz file for HPUX 9+ (even though I'm running 11.0) after unzipping it untarring it... it's got a very HANDY install.sh... did everything.

kewl.

Thanks

Richard
