It needs to be installed if I'm not mistaken. I can remember working with it a long time ago, greate 16bit fonts!

Did you try the japanese forums?

Re: Japenese Locale

Hi Nitin,Do swlist and grep for
HPUXJpn64RT.I think it is not the standard part of HPUX if you are in North America/Euorpe.Ask HP sales for Asian languages and you will get the right answer.Once you get it you can install it by swinstall and it needs a reboot.

Re: Japenese Locale

The localization of HP-UX for Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese and Korean language support is sold as a separate product and is not a part of the US or European distribution of HP-UX.

The ordering, installing, and testing of the components required to support these Asian languages on HP-UX can be confusing if these components are not in one these Asian countries ordered.
This document will help to clarify this information for Asian languages

What are the product numbers for the Asian languages?

The follow information is intended as a guide for customers
to use when ordering HP Asian System Environment software
from an HP Sales Representative.
Please always consult HP sales for final Part Numbers to order
as partnumbers could always be subject of change.
