Java 1.4.2.16 - is it having the DST patches built-in

Java 1.4.2.16 - is it having the DST patches built-in

I would like to know if Java 1.4.2.16 provided has the DST patches packaged in it. Or should we run tzupdater after installing this version of Java.

According to my DST research, as of 2/14/2007, 1.4.2.12 contained the updates. It does not contain the most recient changes.

Shalom,

The update you are looking at is good to have, regardless of DST issues. No need to run tzupdater after the install.
