Java Operator GUI cannot connect
Hi,
Java Client GUI connection problem. On launching Java Glient GUI, the following problem is reported in a pop up window.
"Access is denied to 172.39.0.1
Can't connect to the display manager process.
Please check if the server processes are running"
On management server, the status seen is
# opcsv -status
Warning opcctlm (Control Manager)(16923) : The license has expired. Expiration time was: 'Mon Feb 24 17:33:02 2003'. (OpC40-1122)
ITO Management Server status:
-----------------------------
Control Manager opcctlm (546) is running
Action Manager opcactm (547) is running
Message Manager opcmsgm (548) is running
TT & Notify Mgr opcttnsm (549) is running
Forward Manager opcforwm (550) is running
Service Engine opcsvcm (553) is running
Display Manager opcdispm (551) is running
Distrib. Manager opcdistm (552) is running
Open Agent Management status:
-----------------------------
Request Sender ovoareqsdr (543) is running
Request Handler ovoareqhdlr (544) is running
Message Receiver opcmsgrd (545) is running

And what is 172.39.0.1? Is this by any chance the IP adress of an X-windows environment? In that case, run 'xhost +' on it and retry. And check your DISPLAY environment variable if it is set correctly.
