java1.4.2.12 installation

java1.4.2.12 installation

I copied sdk14_14212_pa.depot file to /opt/java1.4.2.12 directory

I used sam to install it . But sam reported "there is no enought space" to install.

Which logical volume must I extend for installation?

After the checking phase swinstall will tell you the space after installation. Look for any value >100%.

Of course you can move the file sdk14_14212_pa.depot to any other location, let's say /tmp.
This will free up some space in /opt.
