Jetadmin on HPUX 10.20

All,

I have downloaded the latest jetadmin for HPUX10.20, I can install it using swinstall on my B1000 workstation, on my D class server, but not on my brand new R390.

The error message is : Currently there are no products on this source which are compatible with the target. Therefore, no products are shown.

Suggestions?

OS in R-390 is hpux-10.20 ?

Yes, it is 10.20 on the R Class server.

Hi Nick,

let's try to do some basic troubleshooting...

1) did you ftp the file over to the r-box? maybe you want to try ftp the file again and make sure that cksum is the same

2) kill the swagentd and restart it again

3) check the options chosen in swinstall and compare from working to non-working box

4) you can point swinstall to the depot on the working box too and see if the bin which worked before works on the r-box

Thanks for your efforts, but this issue is now closed. The problem was with the inetd.conf not containing the correct information.
