I want to install JFS on my server.
When I'm trying to install:
B8861E_11_00.depot B3929CA-fndation
I get this NOTE:
NOTE: The patch fileset "PHCO_18463.VXFS-ADV-RUN,r=1.0" may only be
installed upon a previously installed base fileset. The
specification for this base fileset is
"AdvJournalFS.VXFS-ADV-RUN,fr=B.11.00,v=HP". Since there is
no fileset on the target or selected from the source which
matches this specification, fileset
"PHCO_18463.VXFS-ADV-RUN,r=1.0" will be excluded.
is it normal?

Solution
When you say you want to install JFS on your server, do you mean Advanced JFS (sometimes known as Online JFS)? The message is saying that the patch is for Online JFS and you don't have it installed so the patch will be skipped (it's hard to patch something that isn't there!).

Re: JFS Installation
I don't need onLineJFS so I'll ignore it.
Thanks very much.
