jlog and qlog in HP-UX

Is anybody aware of qrlog and jlog in HP-UX.

Can we delete these files or make these null files.


These are filling up my /var filesystem

Anybody please advice.

i think jlog is related omnistorage qrlog is something I do not know. If you are running omnistorage product, you need to consult the users guide to figure out how important the data contained in this log to you and decide for yourself if you want to zero it out.

make sure you do not selete it if it is open. use command

fuser -f /path_to_file/jlog

if you see a process id (PID), means it is open and you can not just delete it.
