jre download

Can anyone tell me wher can I download jre version 1.1.7 or higher(for hp-ux 11i 32 bits)?While trying to install oracle 8i on hp ux I get the following message :"The Java RunTime Environment was not found at ../stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8.0.1/1/DataFiles/Expanded/jre/hpunix/bin/jre. Hence, the Oracle Universal Installer cannot be run.
Please visit http://www.javasoft.com and install JRE version 1.1.7 or higher and try again.".

All HP-UX java releases including legacy releases are linked there.

Don't forget to download and install all required patches.

The depots are combined 32/64 depots, in your case only the 32 bit stuff will install.

Hi Sauvik,

The JRE should be on the Oracle Installer CD-ROM. Please read the install guide carefully.
Have you ever installed newer Oracle versions on that same machine before?
May I notice that Oracle 8.1.7 on HP-UX 11i is not supported by Oracle.
