JVM Internal Error

Hi,

I encounter more and more often the following error:

# Java version:
# Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (mixed mode)
#
# HotSpot Virtual Machine Error, Internal Error
# Please report this error to HP customer support.
#
# ShouldNotReachHere()
#
# Error ID: /CLO/Components/JAVA_HOTSPOT/Src/build/hp-ux/../../src/share/vm/runtime/java.cpp, 352
#
# Problematic Thread: prio=7 tid=0x44e68da0 nid=35 lwp_id=24164 runnable

I am running the following Java version:
java version "1.3.1.09"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1.09-030418-12:59)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.3.1 1.3.1.09-_18_apr_2003_14_01 PA2.0, mixed mode)

on a HP-UX N-class machine, with:
HP-UX B.11.00 U 9000/800

Any ideas, what I could do, to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance

Alfred

Re: JVM Internal Error

First thoughts:

swverify \*

compare any anamolies to the patch list at http://www.hp.com/go/java

Also make sure all patches are installed. You may need to reinstall java after patching.
