Compiling conf.c...
Loading the kernel...
ld: Unsatisfied symbol "wsio_get_service" in file /usr/conf/lib/libpci.a[superio_centif.o]
1 errors.
I did 2 installs that required rebuild of kernel and they both failed with the same error. Is there a DEPOT with ***ALL*** the patches for HP-UX B.11.00 that I can reinstall and fix everything on this Visualize B2000?
My C3000 has HP-UX 10.20, what can I do to get it to 11i?

Re: Kernel compile failure!
to get 11i, your best and actually the only legal way is to contact the HP sales. There are people selling these sets of cdroms on ebay but legitimacy of this idea is questionable at best.
UNIX because I majored in cryptology...

SolutionAs far as 11i on a B2000 goes it is definitely supported. Check the following link:
http://www.hp.com/workstations/risc/standard/operating/support_matrix/update.html
You best bet would be to back up your data and do a clean fresh install of HP-UX 11i on the B2000. I would not try an upgrade from 10.20 to 11i. I think you would have too many problems.

Re: Kernel compile failure!
Try this link,
http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000070865926
The itrc doc id is KBRC00006788.
Look for the section "Looking for wsio_get_service ... "
Hope this helps.

Re: Kernel compile failure!
I'll just install 11i from scratch on both my machines... Anybody has 11i for sale used?
