Kernel configuration icon missing

Hello all in am new on this board and am in need of some assistance.
After invoking SAM I am unable to see the Kernel configuration icon.
Can you please help me resolve this?

Are you logged in as root or are has someone set up restricted SAM and not given access to the kernel configuration section?

Make sure nobody has changed roots numeric user id in /etc/passwd or the shell.

pam can be configured to prevent root login.

If you run SAM In text-mode, do you have a Kernel configuration menu option?

It appears that you are missing some files. You could reinstall SAM. If you have another like server you might try adding the missing files.

please help me just a bit more, how do i reinstall SAM please.

We have two additional servers (identical) with the identical files in that location and I am able to display that kernel config screen via SAM.
