Kernel configuration in 11.31

Pls clarify me the difference between kctune and mk_kernel command.

we use kconfig command before installing patches in our hp ux 11.31

Both the commands are using for creating new kernel?

hi,

you oculd use smh = replacement for sam.

or you could use this a referrence :

Hi,

For tuning configurable kernel param best practice is

kmtune (for 11.11 and before)
kctune (for 11.21 and after i.e 11.31).
