kernel configuration replication

Hi all,

I'm upgrading to 11i on a number of servers and want to ensure my kernel paramaters are at least at the minimum level they were on the 11.00 system. Is it valid to take the system file of an 11.00 server and simply re-create the kernel or is there a better way of doing this.

Hi Adam:

"11i" doesn't tell enough. The kernel configuration changes dramatically as 11i evolves; particularly at 11.23.
