Kernel parameter question

Can anyone tell me what the kernel parameter "samsna_kc" is for?

Thanks,

Re: Kernel parameter question

What version of HP-UX are you on? I don't recognize that as one of the tunable kernel parameters.

Re: Kernel parameter question

using the following expression i get "symbol not used "

echo "samsna_kc/D"| adb -k /stand/vmunix /dev/kmem

It seems that it is not a kernel parameter or it is not used any more.

Re: Kernel parameter question

I'm running 11.0

This parameter shows up in SAM under the "Configurable parameters" window so I was assuming that it was not an obsolete parameter but I guess it could be. We do run Snaplus 2 here so I thought it was related to sna.

Re: Kernel parameter question

Hello Rusty,

all I can find is that it is installed with SNA+, but it does not have a description listed there.... sorry.

I can only confirm your suspicion that it is SNA related.
