Does anyone run 64 bit Oracle 8.1.6 on L Class?
The machine came to such a situation that it is impossible even from console. RAM is 1GB. When I try to logon to system from anywhere it gives:
----
Console Login: root
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Call to mmap() failed - BSS /usr/lib/libnsl.1
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Not enough space
-----
After that I rebooted the system. My swapinfo:
-------------
#swapinfo -ta

dev 2097152 0 2097152 0% 0 - 1 /dev/vg00/lvol2

Re: Kernel Params for Oracle 8.1.6
Try to get the Installation guide from Oracle Metalink or Oracle Technet.
In this documentation you should find your answers.

Re: Kernel Params for Oracle 8.1.6
This could be a memory leak within one of the Applications.
