kernel parms
I've just installed v3 on a server and want to know if there's a document recommending which kernel parameters to change from default after a cold install.
There are no apps installed on this box nor do I know what will be installed.

Re: kernel parms
Hi Briano
The kernel parameters depends on the application that you will use in the server.
So you should check your application's installation guide when you want to install.
Best Regards
Murat

Re: kernel parms
After installation check also 'Common Misconfigured HP-UX Resources' - http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-0732/5992-0732.pdf

Re: kernel parms
Briano,
Usually we use the default setting, until the application request the kernel parameter to be change.
I will let you know if i come across any.
