Kernel templates
How do I create a kernel template on one server to be applied to a seperate server?
Both are rp7400 servers. All hardware is the same save 4 G of memory.

It is not a problem, but a learning experience.

Re: Kernel templates
Configurable kernel parameters are kept in the system file.
cd /stand/build
/usr/lbin/sysadm/system_prep -s system
vi system # modify the params
ftp to servers,
-or-
rcp
-or-
rdist
SAM also provides this functionality and has several provided in this directory:
/usr/sam/lib/kc/tuned
Load via SAM via the "Actions" menu > "Templates".
cd /stand/build

vi system # modify the params
