Kernel tuning for telnet users

hi,

I have an L5430 hpux 11.11
approx 120 users connecting with telnet, BUT, no more than 60 can connect, I've found the NSTRPTY and NSTRTEL, NPTY is already set to 200. Are there any other paramaters I need to consider?

I'm rebooting in a little less than three hours and to limit the amount of egg on my face I need to get this right.

Thanks!

Yes, you must reboot.

Re: Kernel tuning for telnet users

if these are already set,
And your limit is 60, I am not sure a reboot will fix your limit problem.

you might try
insf -e -n 200 -s 200

before rebooting
