keyboard selection when installing 10.20?
I've been trying to do a clean install of 10.20
on my B132L (my first hp-ux install ever).
I have a standard HP pc ps/2 keyboard
connected via a linksys 4port kvm switch.
(the switch seems to work fine w/the hp-ux
already installed, and linux when installed).
There are only two options, US w and w/o
ITF (or something like that). Either one,
mostly works, except when I get to the menus
that need tab to move around, I can only move
by hitting ctrl+tab then releasing, repeat--which
tabs _backwards_. 'tab' by itself sometimes
tabs forwards, and sometimes even works twice,
but after that stops doing anything. Also,
when trying to type numbers to edit partition
sizes I only get the shifted symbols no matter
whether holding shift or not. The arrow keys just cause it to beep at me. Needless to say,
I've temporarily given up on the install since
I can't navigate the install menus w/o extreme
agrivation.
What should I do to get a sane keyboard setting?

Re: keyboard selection when installing 10.20?
PS2_DIN_US should work fine.
Since it is working ok with the current
O/S install, you can look at what the current
setting is by running set_params command
and check what is the current option.
(you can safely exit from set_params instead
of running it).
