Keyboard setup on B180

Hi
I have a B180 with an keyboard that is partly scrambeled:
keys:
|??
<>
'*
are inverted. That is, when I want to type "|" (pipe) I end up with "??" and "'" is "*" etc.(ie the keys are upside down)
I then have to hold down SHIFT-key to get "|" (pipe) instead of "??" etc.

How do I correct this?

Andreas
Only by ignoring what everyone think is important, can you be aware of what everyone ignores!

Re: Keyboard setup on B180

Hi Andreas,

If you are referring to the system console, you can check the contents of the file /etc/kbdlang

This shows the language configured for the console terminal.

Unfortunately I can't remember where to find the list of valid entries for this file - when I do I'll post it.

HTH,

John

Re: Keyboard setup on B180

Remove the file /etc/kbdlang and reboot the system, it will see this file is missing and ask you to select the correct keyboard for your system
