KVM mouse and keyboard driver upgraded to 11.31

hi,

i upgrade an 11.23 machine to 11.31 and after upgrading the keyboard seems laggy and the mouse no longer works.

do i need a driver or something?

i upgrade to the latest firmware during the upgrade.

its an itanium rx1600.

You need to install CDE in order to have a graphical screen with mouse support - it is not default in 11.31.

sorry about that i already have cde installed.

i'm talking about while using cde the keyboard seems laggy and the mouse doesn't work. attaching a usb mouse works.

this seems to be the same on another server i tested it on.

You mean you have a KVM switch in between?
Seems like the switch doesn't support 11.31.

i have a switch inbetween for a couple of servers but the i also have another one with just a hp rackmount screen / keyboard which also doesn't work.

it has a built-in keyboard with a trackball type mouse in the middle.

i guess i was just curious if even supplied specific drivers for these types of setups.
