Server was just reloaded and PCI nics are not detected with lanscan and they show up as PCI Ethernet (10110019) in ioscan. Loaded A5230A but it only loaded as a partial. Running HP-UX 11x.

Solution
James,
When you run ioscan does it look like the following:
lan 0 0/0/0/0 btlan3 CLAIMED INTERFACE PCI Ethernet (10110019)
/dev/ether0
I have a L2000 running hpux 11.0 it shows that it is using the btlan3 driver. If you do a lsdev does it show that btlan3 or major number 171 is install in the kernel?
What patches do you have installed? Do you have PHNE_19094and PHNE_19826 or better it is a patch for PCI 100B(T/F) cumulative patch?
If you don't have btlan3 you can add the driver to the kernel through sam -> Kernel Configuration -> Drivers.
Hope this helps.

Look for the BTlan100 application on the application CD's. Once you load it you should be OK
