Lack of 11i support
Is there an 11i install CD that does not install Apache 1.3? The last ones I checked installed Apache 1.3, which HP has dropped from support. However, the kcweb part of SAM, for the kernel monitoring and building, requires Apache 1.3. HP said to use Apache 2, but never provided a version of kcweb and SAM that used Apache 2. Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Lack of 11i support
Ray,
I've noticed on my servers that when I've installed 11i from a more recent CD, Apache has version 2 installed.. (looked at servers with March 2003 CD installed) but when I used older versions (sep 2002 for example), I have Apache 1.3 installed. So maybe it's just a case of ordering the newer CDs.

Re: Lack of 11i support
Hi,
Apache is installed in 11i installs because, by default, Apache is marked YES for standard installs.
All you need to do is go to the SW tab during install & set it to NO and it won't install then.
Rgds,
Jeff

Re: Lack of 11i support
Marco,
The last CD I had was for 11.22 and it installed Apache 1.3. I'll check my more recent 11.11, but I think they are the same.
Jeff,
If I select not to install Apache, then the kcweb part of SAM, which monitors and builds kernels will not work.
I looked for another version of kcweb, but only found one for 11.11 and not 11.22.
