Lan card failover
I have one rp3440/4440 having two lan cards.I want to configure only lan fail over.Other servers I had is allready configured for clusters.I heard about auto port agrigation. Please help me out to get the configuration steps for that.Is it possible by configuring MC service guard with only one node ..?
Thanks in advance

Re: Lan card failover
1) You can create a one-node cluster
2) Autoport Aggregation is also an option. Here you find the manual

Re: Lan card failover
for local lan card failover, the standby lan should
1. no ip bind on it
2. have link connection to the primary lan
and in the cluster configure ascii file.
NODE_NAME NODE1
NETWORK_INTERFACE lan0
HEARTBEAT_IP 192.168.1.1
NETWORK_INTERFACE lan1
GOOD LUCK!!

-It's not mandatory at all. You can have APA betwen onboard Card and external lan.

-As Suggested above , same type means ethernet , token ring etc.
