LAN card speed

Hi,

I have 1GB lan card running in HP-UX11i.That is connected to a 1GB switch. How can i check the operating speed of lan card from server?

# lanadmin -x 0

assuming your lan card is lan0

lanadmin --> lan --> display

Displays the local LAN interface card status and statistics register.

#lanscan
This will give you the information about installed lancards. Find out PPA number of the card from there.

#lanadmin -s [ppa number]

This will give you the spped settings. Pls remember to give small "s".

Otherwise goto lanadmin -> lan -> ppa->enter ppa number-> then display-> This will give the DL layer information about the selected card.

Don't give up. Try till success...
