Large Quota's File
Hello!
We have disk quotas turned on for our users. The problem is that the quotas file is very large, like 2 GB. We have about 5,000 users, and I don't think that the file should be that big.
Any thoughts?
Regards,
Emil

Re: Large Quota's File
Emil, your question might generate lot's of discussion.. so I would have to say it's ok, but then it might not be ok.
what does your repquota command show ? you might want to read up on this link under chapter 5:

Your soft and hard limits that you impose on your users might be related to your Free Space on the file-system. So, monitoring the Free space and then changing the quota might be in order for the future.
