Latest Bind Patch

Can anyone tell me if there is a 9.2.1 bind patch available for HP-UX.11.00. I have PHNE_23274 installed and my SRR scripts wants me to upgrade to 9.2.1.

Bind 9.2.x is not available for hp-ux 11.00, it is for hp-ux 11.i

PHNE_23274 is the last version available for bind on HPUX 11.00.

You can download the source directly from ISCs ftp site:

ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/bind9/9.2.1/bind-9.2.1.tar.gz

Off course you will have to compile.

There is no such patch for 9.2.1, what you got is the latest already. As far as 9.2.1 is concern it does run on 11.00. Take a look here..

For those running HPUX 10.20, BIND 4.x, on Dec 17, 2002 notification of patch PHNE_27792.depot.gz which can be found at ftp://bind:bind1@192.170.19.51/

I looked and searched before finding this. Hope this post make is easier for someone else.
