Latest Compression tools for hp-ux 11.31 IA

Hi ,

Is there any compresseion toos for HP-UX 11.31 IA other than normal gzip ?

I have tried with 7zip but it had given lot of trouble during the installation.

There are zip and unzip.

Are you interested in more compression?  Or just being able to move files back and forth to windows?

I have already tried zip, gzip. I am more interested in comression tools which can provide  large compression ratio & it should help me to save the disk space on my enterprise storage.

Is there any other utility like 7zip ?

You can download a binary depot from :

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Misc/p7zip-9.20.1/

There are no special requirements for 7zip, so you should have no problems installing it.
