LDAP failover failed in Cluster environment with service guard.

1.) Hardware related fail over: Unplugging LAN cables from interfaces related to the LDAP package cables forces ServiceGuard to a package switch.

2.) LDAP failover via command line in parallel (sh -c "cmhaltpkg INFORMIX; cmrunpkg -n mmscbe1 INFORMIX; cmmodpkg -e INFORMIX" &; sh -c "cmhaltpkg LDAP; cmrunpkg -n mmscbe1 LDAP; cmmodpkg -e LDAP" &).

In both cases:
The LDAP corruption occurs frequently.

Is there anyone can help me out?

Can you clarify what products you're using? LDAP is a protocol, I assume you're referring to an LDAP server product whose datastore is corrupted on failover.

Hi Frank,

If you unlplug all your cables from a node and whatever the package thats running on that server, then this will cause the failover and this is the normal behavior of service guard.

So what is the problem you are having.
