Is LDAP compatible with a trusted system? We're running 11.11 in trusted mode.
Thanks,

Re: LDAP for HP-UX integration
I found this in the following link (pg 18):
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/J4269-90020/J4269-90020.pdf
??? Trusted Systems Support
LDAP-UX and Trusted Systems cannot co-exist and are not
supported on the same host. Solutions for password policy
enforcement for host-based accounts are planned for a future release
of HP-UX which can co-exist with LDAP-UX. Password policy
enforcement for directory-based accounts will be enforced by the
directory server through the PAM_LDAP component of the
LDAP-UX product.

Re: LDAP for HP-UX integration
I believe this issue is going to be addressed. Taking a system from trusted to non-trusted is not that big a deal.
Integrating with LDAP and letting a Microsoft PDC is not quite as good as haveing a trusted system. But: It is nice having a single user logon getting you access to Windows Shares and your HP-UX server.
