LDAP-UX client fails to failover
All,
I discovered there is a known bug on ldapux.
Defect number is: JAGae32900
That's quite a big problem as LDAP replicas becomes totally useless if client fails to switch the server.
Is there any update regarding this defect?
Thanks.
MAssimiliano.

Re: LDAP-UX client fails to failover
I can't find any updates on it.
You would probably need to open a call with your local HP Response Center and ask them to look into it.
One customer worked around the problem by doing the following:
Uncommenting the following lines in /etc/opt/ldap/ldapclientd.conf
# poscache_ttl=600
# negcache_ttl=600
and using
connection_ttl=60
I haven't used LDAP myself, and am just letting you know what I found in a DB.
