Lean emacs on 11iv3
Is there a lean version of emacs available for 11iv3 somewhere? I'm looking for one that is not compiled with X11 features. I never actually built this beast but I expect it to be a long trip and would like to save the trouble.
The one from the porting center is not good enough... it has a dependency on a lot of libraries (I counted 22) and there are many of them which are X11-related and I'd rather not install them since I have to be able to justify each open source software I add to my servers, and monitor it manually for security patches.
In the old days I just pulled emacs off an old Internet Express DVD, I think it was version 4 or 5. No brainer. But it's no longer available.
Thanks
