Library difference between PA-RISC and Itanium

I am trying to port an application from Itanium to PA-RISC. Can somebody tell me the difference between the two architecture at source code library level ??

Steven Protter's answer has what appears
to be a bad link ... or HP's Forum search
software has a bug today :)

When I click on it, I get a new page that's
doing a Forum search ... but the topic
varies over time (perhaps reflecting the
last search topic that *anyone* *anywhere*
entered in the last few minuts :) ...
and I usually get no hits after that.
The one thing I haven't seen (after about
10 tries) is anything like the page that
Steve was trying to link to :)
