Licensing with apptrack

Hi Gurus
I need some assistance again please.
I have an hp-ux 11 server running Microfocus server express.

Whenever I try to run an app it says:

No Application Server License available:
0 system and 0 user license installed 0 in use

I checked in the Admin guide and it says that U should run apptrack, but when I do this, it asks me for a password, which I do not have.
I have 1 developmet licence installed, which should entitle me to 5 application licences.

How do I get a password to run apptrack?????

Hi,

Have u set COBDIR environment variable which is usually the installation directory, EX: /opt/cobol.
apptrack resides in /opt/cobol/aslmf.

YES !!!!!!
COBDIR=/opt/lib/cobol
When I run apptrack it asks me for a password. Where do I get this password.

Fom what I can remember, when you install server express you add users that are able to run apptrackand set the password there ?

Have you checked the cobol site for any clues ?

Try using all passwords as the password. That's the default. Unless your Admin changed it at install time that should work.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the assistance.
I eventually got it working.
I removed the license database directory in /var & re-ran apptrack & it then asked me to create a assword. I guess one of my developers entered a password & just kept quiet about it.
