How to make a symbolic link file as the lr--r--r-T permission ?

for ex:
lr-xr--r-T 1 root sys 17 Oct 29 2003 telnetd -> /usr/lbin/telnetd

Hi,

the mode of a symbolic link has no meaning, so you can leave it as it is.

If you inst, look for Steve's advise in this thread about the (undocumented) system call 'lchmod':
