Linking eloquence without ansi c
When we try to do this, we get
cant find /opt/langtools/lib/libcomp.sl
We have gcc, anything without eleoquence refs links fine and runs.
Anybody BTDT please?
Ux is 11.11, 64 bit mode. Lots of libs in pa20_64, only libc.2 is in pa20_32
thanks in advance

Re: Linking eloquence without ansi c
Hi JP,
YOu should have libcomp.sl if ansic got installed correctly.
swlist |grep -i ansi
B3901BA B.11.11.03 HP C/ANSI C Developer's Bundle for HP-UX 11.i (S800)
swlist -l file B3901BA |grep libcomp
B3901BA.Auxiliary-Opt.LANG-AUX: /opt/langtools/lib/libcomp.sl
Try to see if you can locate it in your depot.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try

Re: Linking eloquence without ansi c
Sri,
The key word is 'without' - we DONT have ANSI C. It isnt supposed to be installed, we dont have codewords to install it, it is an ex-parrot.
thanks anyway,
jp
