Re: linkloop Failed

Is this card connected correctly to a network???

What does "netstat -rn" return??

What OS release??

What is the major patch level. If you haven't applied a major patch bundle in the past six months you should do so!

Re: linkloop Failed

Have a look at the information from this posting. I know the problem was reported as a service-guard problem, but there are a number of suggestions.

Re: linkloop Failed

Hi Patrick,

No fear. The error msg does not mean much harm.

This is because by default linkloop defaults to lan0.

Kindly reference extract of man page "for linkloop
linkloop recognizes the following options:
-i NetMgmtID Specify the Network Management ID to use. If this option is omitted, linkloop uses the
first NetMgmtID it encounters in an internal data structure."

If you specify linkloop at command prompt with "linkloop -i 5 0x0060B04A4566"

where 5 is the NMID of btlan01 from lanscan output.

Cheers!
