List of thirdparty software installed.
Is there any way to list all the third party software installed using swlist or any other utility? For eg. ClearCase, WebLogic Oracle etc..
Is there any database maintained for third party apps?
Thanks & rgds

Re: List of thirdparty software installed.
Other software (like a copied binary to a directory) of course will not.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: List of thirdparty software installed.
There is no way of doing this as each third party vendor has its own installation vendor.
It is of course possible to create .depot files for everything you install and then install those depots. That would put everything indo the sd-ux database.
There are third party products that do a reasonable job creating this inventory.

But of course its the same with Solaris also!, the product is listed provided it comes in pkg format.
